There are only so many things you can control, and if those don’t fix the problem, it may be with the carrier, and you can do nothing about it. But here’s what you can do on your end:

* Is your Device Software (Operating System) up-to-date? If not, you may want to try an upgrade (I have articles that explain how).
* Is your download and installation of the YouTube app “good?” If there is any doubt, consider downloading again and reinstalling it.
* Are your APN settings correct? If in doubt, do some research to verify. Often carriers will not tell you the APN settings. Why? I don’t know. But you can find APN settings through web searches (search using these terms: APN settings your_country your_carrier).

Hello kelly, so I got my APN from digiceltt and it is wap.digiceltt.com. User name and password are both was, but now I am getting same msg as allan. Player exception:error initialzing media.cause:java.microedition.media.media exception:erro initializing media. Please help kelly

Dear kelly,
I am also having the sam problem with the “video interrupted”
I have also tried many of the batt puull, but didn’t work.
I think it might be the same issue as you mention with the APN setting.
Could yu please ive me the APN for thailnd (TRUE operator)

Hi Kelly,

I filled in the APN, user and password but i still can not play any video’s
The following error is displayed: PlayerExeption: Error initializing media. Cause: javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Error initializing media.

Have you ever seen this problem? Hope you can help.

I have seen some problems on YouTube that were temporary, or only occurred with certain videos. The problem either disappeared after time, or if I chose a different video. Do you get the same error on all videos all the time?
