Philippe,
I haven't done it, but I think I know how it is done. Open your email, highlight the attachment, press Menu key, and select Download Attachment. Store it in Device Memory or on Media Card (I think either is OK). Exit back to Home Screen.

Activate Bluetooth on phone and MacBook. Pair the two. If asked for a passkey, try four zeros (0000). That usually works.

Now, open Media. Press Menu Key and select Explore. Navigate to the place where you downloaded (stored) the attachment. Highlight the file, press Menu key, and select Send Using Bluetooth.

Please let me know how that works out for you, since I've never tried it myself.

Rob,
Here are some instructions for DM 4.6:
1. Open Desktop Manager
2. Run Synchronize
3. On left side of screen click Synchronization (link)
4. Then on right side of screen click Sychronization (button)
5. A box should appear that allows you to select Address Book ==> ASCII Importer/Exporter
6. From there it's similar to the instructions above, I think...

See if that helps; if not, let me know.

I just got a Bold and I want to transfer all my contacts from my Nokia to it. I think I have done that and now I want to download to excel per your plan above. However - the version of Blackberry desktop I have does not seem to allow me to do what you describe. When I select "synchronise" it takes me to screens a little different from what you show (this is the latest version I am running). If I select the "synchronisation" sub-folder which sits underneath the "configuration" title I can then select the "synchronisation tab which takes me into the sync config screen where I can select "address book" "Microsoft Outlook"....but I cannot seem to change or navigate my way to getting the Microsoft Outlook bit to say ASCII Importer/Exporter........what am I doing wrong ?

Bradon,
This is an AutoText feature: type %O then press the SPACE key. That's a "percent capital letter O". See my article on AutoText for more info: http://newbbie.com/2007/11/29/autotext/.

It shouldn't matter if you don't have an Internet plan.

Jackie,
OK, here is a kind of trick that has worked for me in a number of computer-related anomalies over the years: Delete one of your Fav Five contacts, then completely re-enter it (carefully). See if it now works with an exception. I know this is a big stretch, but honestly I've seen this trick work in many cases where something got entered not-just-right but looked perfect on the surface.

If that doesn't work, I have to assume T-Mobile is playing some game with how they pass caller ID info for a Fav Five contact (different from ordinary contacts). And it's not compatible with the BB for some reason.

OddyOh,
I have re-converted the Pearl MP4 files and they now play fine on my Pearl. The quality is much better than the 3GP and 3G2 formats. If you want, try them. Thanks so much for your feedback.

Hi Kelly, the videos work fine (after solving my "Missing Sync for Blackberry" issues, got it working now). They downloaded and play perfectly, except the .mp4 ones don't play on my Pearl ("an error has occurred"), but maybe that's normal, I have no idea what formats this thing plays...these are the first videos I've tried putting on my BB.

I haven't tried the theme yet, I'm still hooked on the BPhone theme you posted about back in February...I use the Icon version. :)

OddyOh,
Please let me know if you try any of the downloads and if they worked for you (in case we have any problems with them).

Yes--do check out the books and the movie and the soundtrack. You won't be sorry.
