Going with the Storm

    Hello all and thanks to Kelly for introducting me to BlackBerrys. I have had my first one (Curve) for less that a month and love it but am going to give the new Storm a drive around the block. I have researched and read all the reviews but was wondering if anyone here has any personal experience with one.

    I'll be camping out outside my local Verizon Wireless corporate store to grab a Storm on Nov. 21. I've been studying up on some "secret" technical material I obtained, so I hope I'll be able to get up-to-speed on it very quickly. Be sure to come back to newBBie.com to see what new articles I have posted, or to ask any questions.

    So far, everything I read about it sounds great.

    Well I have a good buddy at a Verizon store who told me there are gonna be some long lines of people waiting for the new Storm. Fortunatly we are good enough friends that mine will already be on charge under his desk the night before. Ha! Lucky me. I would like to get with you next week when we got em in hand and do some hands on with them. BTW, Congrats on your new _ _ b!

    This site uses Gravatar.com for photos. Create an account on Gravatar.com, use the same email address there are you did when you registered here. Upload a pic to Gravatar. Then, any Gravatar-compatible site you use will pull your photo (avatar) from Gravatar.

    As you know by now, I got a Storm. Still evaluating it. Love the larger screen with automatic portrait/landscape mode switching--makes web browsing incredible. Not sold on the touchscreen yet, but realize it's a necessary tradeoff to lose the physical keyboard for screen space. Still adore my Pearl and Curve. Until I get used to the Storm, my Curve is my day-to-day workhorse. Kelly

    im lovin it as a new BB user would. much faster SMS and speed dials for me as i was not yet aclimated to the Curve. found that by delteing Navigator and other unused items, process speed up considerably. i directed a Verizon Tech Service lady to your site the other day and she was impressed. I was the phone with her and walked her to your site. she plans to join and provide tips and shortcuts for the Storm.

    hey kelly,

    about a month ago i was searching the net for a way to save my address book to a file on my pc (spreadsheet i think it was) and i was sent here to your ste. i have searched again for it to no avail. im sure the steps were posted on this site but isure cant find them. little help???

    still loving the strorm.
